Who I am

A dear friend once told me "Seanan, one thing that is sure about you, you like to have fun. And you're going to do all it takes to make it happen."

​

It is true. I do love to have fun. And I love for others to have fun.  And I will go to great lengths to ensure the fun is well planned, as safe as can be and is actually, truly, deeply, really, fun.

​

That's who I am in and out of work. It's who I am as a mother. It's who I am as a best friend. And it's who I am as an event manager. 

What I do

I am a freelance event production manager. I work on small to large scale entertainment, sporting and corporate events. 

 

I work both in Greece and abroad. In Greece I work in cooperation with a hand-picked highly-experienced local team of freelance event specialists. 

​

I also enjoy being a virtual assistant and remote team member to Global Event and Production Managers.

What I bring to the team:

I am a global citizen. I was born in France and raised in Vermont. I owned my first business in Liberia, and now I freelance and raise my own family in Athens. 

​

I have worked in event tourism and event management for 20+ years, across three continents with people from all backgrounds.

​

I am bilingual, fluent in English and French, and currently improving my Greek (A2). 

 

I have directly managed large teams of over 100+ international members. I excel In leadership roles but equally enjoy being a strong supporting role to top global production teams. 

​

I excel at and actively enjoy task management and delegation, team communication and vendor liasoning. 

​

Some highlights of my portfolio include: 

  • Hosting the National Discovery Lindblad Explorer cruise ship's inaugural visit to Monrovia, Liberia

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of a US State Department funded West African regional conference on security sector reform and human security held in Liberia in September, 2012 

  • Planning and managing week-long party-sailing regattas for 200 to 400 people in Greece and Croatia for six years.

  • Assisting with the delivery of Athens's first ever F1 showcase at the historic OAKA for 20,000 people.
